Hello, I’m Cecilia, you can call me Cece.
My journey so far...
Originally from China, my journey brought me to Melbourne at 17, bright-eyed and ready for new experiences as a university student.
I moved to Sydney, where I officially kicked off my design career in 2013 as a web designer. Coding and crafting front-end interfaces taught me the technical foundations of design, but I quickly found myself drawn more to the creative side - designing the experience rather than the interface.
In 2016, I transitioned into UX design at Canon Australia, where I deepened my understanding of user-centred design and learned to always ask 'why' behind every design decision. Over the past ten years, each role along my UX journey has deepened my understanding of people and strengthened my ability to craft experiences that feel intuitive and human.

Outside the work
I love film photography. With a camera in hand, I explored the city, capturing everyday moments and observing how people interact with their surroundings. This hobby helped me develop a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for storytelling through visuals, skills that would later shape my approach to design.
